Hi there. I'm Madeleine McDaniel, owner of Platinum Pups Mobile Grooming.

I began my grooming career in 2006. While attending college, I was hired on at a local groom shop as a bather. After a few months, I decided that I may want to pursue a career in grooming and attended a grooming academy.

From my first transformation, I was hooked. I wanted to make every dog beautiful one groom at a time. I continued to groom throughout my time in college, as well as, some time after graduation.

In 2010, after graduating with a degree in Physical Education, I started work at the Children’s Montessori School in Jacksonville NC. While I always dreamed of becoming a teacher, I continuously found myself back in the groom shop.

In October of 2017 I decided to leave my position as a teacher and start my own business as a mobile groomer. It wasn’t until my first day in my own van that I realized what it meant to truly love what you do. I go to work every day with a big smile on my face. Grooming is what I love along with being in the company of dogs.
